The Circle Oak Ranch is a private facility specializing in premium rehabilitation, conditioning and retirement services for active and retired performance horses. Combining the professionalism of a veterinary hospital with the personalized attention of a top-notch spa, our goal is to give your horse the best possible care. The ranch is managed and staffed by equine veterinary technicians, and equipped with a full array of therapies, including a HydroHorse™ underwater treadmill. Under veterinary direction, we provide personalized health and fitness programs for horses recuperating from injuries or surgeries, horses needing to improve or maintain performance condition, and provide superior long-term care for horses retired from competitive life.
Performance horses have special care needs: rigorous training and competition take their toll, often resulting in injuries or in veterinary procedures that require recuperation. The quality of care that a horse receives during rehabilitation determines how soon and how successful its return to competition will be. Successful competition requires superb conditioning, and the underwater treadmill allows a horse to exercise using its normal gaits, while significantly lowering risk of injury. Horses that have spent years showing and competing have earned a retirement that maximize their comfort, happiness and longevity.
